Environmental Measurements
The National Center for Environmental Compliance requires a range of environmental measurements depending on a facility's classification, whether for a new permit or a renewal. We identify the measurements your facility needs, carry them out and prepare the reports.
Types of measurement
Measurements vary with the facility's activity and classification. The most commonly requested include:
- Ambient air quality.
- Stack emissions and other stationary sources.
- Noise levels on site and at its boundary.
- Water and wastewater quality.
From measurement to report
We start by identifying the required measurements from the facility's classification, carry them out on site, and prepare a report comparing the results with the regulatory limits — with remediation recommendations where a limit is exceeded. The report goes into the permit file.
Common questions
Do I need measurements when renewing a permit?
Usually yes — the Center asks for up-to-date measurements at renewal, depending on the facility's classification.
What if the results exceed the permitted limits?
The report identifies the source and proposes remediation measures, and we re-measure once they are in place.
Do you carry out measurements outside Al Khobar?
Yes — in Dammam, Dhahran, Jubail, Al-Ahsa and across the Eastern Province and the Kingdom.
