Environmental Permits
We handle your facility's environmental permit end to end — from the environmental classification and required studies to following the application with the National Center for Environmental Compliance until the permit is issued.
What is an environmental permit?
An environmental permit is a qualification certificate issued by the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC) through consultancies it has accredited — Arbon Environmental Services is one of them. It shows that a facility's activity complies with the executive regulations of the Environment Law, and it is required by government bodies and by many clients and project owners.
Construction, operating and renewal permits
New projects need an environmental permit before construction starts, then an operating permit before the activity begins, and the permit must be renewed when it expires. The studies and measurements required at each stage depend on the facility's environmental classification and how much impact its activity has.
How we work on your permit
- Review the facility's activity and complete the environmental classification form.
- Prepare the required environmental studies, including environmental impact assessments where needed.
- Carry out the environmental measurements the Center asks for and prepare their reports.
- Build the environmental requirements into the project's final design.
- Submit the application and follow up on the Center's comments until the permit is issued.
- Remind you ahead of the renewal date and prepare for it early.

Common questions
Can any consultancy obtain an environmental permit?
No. Permits are obtained through consultancies accredited by the National Center for Environmental Compliance, and Arbon is one of them.
What decides which studies my facility needs?
The facility's environmental classification, based on its activity and how much impact it has. We establish it with you at the start, after reviewing the classification form.
Do you follow up on renewal after the permit is issued?
Yes. We handle the renewal, including the measurements it requires, and start preparing well before the permit expires.
